Palworld Legends Awaken Adds Legendary Pals and New Deck Strategies

Legends Awaken brings powerful Legendary Pals, Graveyard combos and new tournament requirements to the Palworld card game.

Palworld Legends Awaken Adds Legendary Pals and New Deck Strategies

Legends Awaken gives the Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME a new set of high-impact cards built around expensive Legendary Pals, Graveyard synergies and fresh options for several colors. It arrives October 30, ahead of a November Release Tournament that requires competitors to include at least 10 cards from the set.

The game is nearing 11 million sales this November after launching with one set, and the second looks designed to shift both deckbuilding and collecting. Legendary Pals have a special restriction: players can include only one copy of each named Legendary in their Base. Their summons cost more, but their high Power and distinctive abilities offer a payoff for building around them.

Blue and Dragon decks gain a major threat

Jetragon - Legendary Guardian Dragon is one of the set’s headline cards, with 1700 Power, 3 Strike and an SSP rarity. Its ability exiles two Pals costing 7 or more from the Graveyard to gain Vigilance. If both exiled cards are Legendary Pals, Jetragon can also Stand up to three Legendaries.

That condition gives the card a clear role in decks that can stock the Graveyard with expensive Pals. Jetragon’s ability rewards players for managing that resource before committing to its own costly summon. It also makes the choice of which cards to send there part of the setup, rather than a secondary detail.

Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME's stunning new Legends Awaken cards are about to shake up the meta

Frostallion - Everlasting Rime helps support that plan. This Legendary Lucky Pal reduces the cost of your Pals by two continuously, then lets you draw until you have four cards in hand at the end of your turn. The cost reduction can help bring demanding cards into play, while the draw effect helps keep options available for later turns.

Together, Jetragon and Frostallion reinforce Blue and Dragon strategies, which the source describes as leading the current meta. The new cards could make those decks more threatening, while their high costs and Legendary restriction give opponents and deckbuilders meaningful constraints to work around.

Purple gets a Graveyard-focused package

Legends Awaken also gives Purple a Legendary option in Frostallion Noct - Eternal Darkness. It has 1500 Power and 3 Strike, and continuously adds 500 Power to your other Pals. At the end of your turn, it also makes your opponent discard until they have four cards in hand. The package supports aggressive board pressure while limiting the opponent’s choices.

For decks built around the Graveyard, Selyne - Saya’s Moonlit Beacon offers another route. If its controller has at least 10 Nocturnal Pals in the Graveyard, Selyne’s Soul cost falls from eight to three. Selyne is Nocturnal itself, so the card can contribute to the same plan it benefits from. Reaching the required count is the key deckbuilding challenge: players will need enough Nocturnal Pals and ways to place them in the Graveyard.

Selyne is part of the set’s new Tower Bosses, which put a boss and a signature Pal together on one card. The set also includes Boss-themed Events that can help establish these strategies. Saya’s Crescent Moon gives a Pal -1000 Power, or sends it to the Graveyard if it’s Night. That can feed Selyne’s condition, with timing and the Night requirement shaping when the Event is most useful.

Zoe’s Gambit offers a more sweeping option: it puts all Pals in the Graveyard in one move. These cards connect the set’s character art to practical deck plans, giving players tools to build around removal and Graveyard counts as well as collectible designs.

Red adds flexible material payoffs

Orserk - Thunderclap Roar gives Red a versatile Dragon and Electric option. The 1400 Power Pal has 3 Strike, and spending two materials lets its controller choose one of three effects: raise a Pal’s Power and Strike for the turn, deal 900 direct damage to a Pal, or Stand a Pal with a Soul cost of 3 or less.

That flexibility lets Orserk respond to different board states, provided the deck can supply enough materials. The source points to Machine Gun Control as one deck able to support all three activations in a turn, and notes that Orserk could fit into Blue/Red Dragon decks or decks designed to counter them.

Flambelle - Feverish Tears provides material support at a low cost to its offensive presence: it has 100 Power and 1 Strike, but can be rested to gain two materials. Its value lies in setting up plays for cards such as Orserk, particularly early in a match. That makes it a support piece whose impact depends on what the rest of the deck can spend those materials on.

Tournament play puts the new set in focus

Competitive players will need at least 10 Legends Awaken cards in their decks for November’s Release Tournament. Shop tournaments run through January, and their prize promo packs include 17 unique cards. With new cards supporting distinct plans across Blue, Purple and Red, existing decks may need substantial updates to meet the requirement and compete with the set’s new combinations.

The full card list and booster pre-orders are available through the Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME site. For players, the central question is how reliably each deck can assemble its setup: Legendary summons demand resources, Graveyard strategies need the right cards in place, and Orserk depends on a steady supply of materials. Those tradeoffs will help determine which of Legends Awaken’s new ideas stick once tournament play begins.
