Phantom Blade Zero Yu’er Herb Locations: Find All Three in Weeping Creek Valley

Find Blood Stopper Vine, Congealeaf and Blemish Goldweed in Weeping Creek Valley to complete Yu’er’s early side quest and earn medicine.

Phantom Blade Zero Yu’er Herb Locations: Find All Three in Weeping Creek Valley

Yu’er’s early side quest in Phantom Blade Zero sends you across Weeping Creek Valley to collect three herbs. Each appears as a glowing orange pickup, but the route puts them beside streams, paths and combat encounters, so knowing the landmarks can save a bit of backtracking.

The herbs are Blood Stopper Vine, Congealeaf and Blemish Goldweed. You can gather them as you progress through the valley, then return to Yu’er at the Outpost. Handing over the complete set earns a medicine reward and opens another quest. Here’s how to find each pickup, in the order described along the route.

Blood Stopper Vine: search below the stone bridge

First help map location.

You can reach the first herb after defeating the Axemaster and taking his Phantom Edge weapon. Continue along the path toward your objective. The route passes through a damaged camp and leads to a stone bridge; look to the left as you reach it for a path that descends toward a stream.

Follow the stream to its end to find Blood Stopper Vine in the water, marked by an orange glow. Enemies are in the area, so clear them before collecting the plant. If the bridge is in front of you and the stream is off to your left, you’re looking in the right direction.

This pickup is easy to pass if you stay on the main path toward the next objective. Check the lower route before moving on, especially if you’re retracing your steps later and can’t remember which herb you missed.

Congealeaf: leave Long Pillar Overlook by the wooden bridge

Herb 2 map location.

Congealeaf is near the camp with the crane bell. The Long Pillar Overlook fast travel point marks the area. From the bell, cross the wooden bridge and push the boulder over the cliff. The action takes care of some nearby enemies, but the path continues beyond that encounter.

Continue across the wall run and deal with the enemies there. Once you’re through, look along the ground for the orange orb: that’s Congealeaf. The route’s sequence of bridge, boulder and wall run makes a useful checklist. If you’ve reached the wall run but haven’t picked up the herb, search the area just beyond it before leaving.

Here, the landmark matters more than the plant’s name: the article’s directions place Congealeaf near the crane bell camp, with the pickup along the path after the wall run. Keep that in mind if you’re using the fast travel point to return and finish the quest.

Blemish Goldweed: check the river beside Long Pillar

final herb map location.

The last herb, Blemish Goldweed, is near the Long Pillar. This is the area where you first fight Donnie Yen’s character. You don’t need to enter the challenge associated with that encounter to collect the plant, so there’s no need to take that detour if your only goal is to complete Yu’er’s request.

Instead, follow the river down from Long Pillar and look on the right-hand side for the glowing orange orb. That’s Blemish Goldweed. The river is the key reference point: if you’re standing near the Long Pillar and haven’t found the final pickup, check downstream rather than heading into the challenge.

Return to Yu’er at the Outpost

Once you have all three herbs, head back to Yu’er at the Outpost and give them to her. The reward is medicine, followed by a new quest. If the request is still incomplete, check your route against the three landmarks: the stream below the stone bridge for Blood Stopper Vine, the path after the wall run near Long Pillar Overlook for Congealeaf, and the right bank of the river below Long Pillar for Blemish Goldweed.
